We were recently thrilled to host Loella Cosmetics alongside renowned celebrity makeup artist Sarah Exley (Head of Makeup for X-Factor and Love Island) at West London Studio.
The session brought together professional beauty artistry, vibrant product detail, and dedicated video filming inside our versatile 570 sq. ft. studio floor.
1. Engineered for Seamless Video & Stills Captures
Capturing high-definition video content alongside detailed beauty stills requires precise light control and clean monitor feeds.
Our white cove area was configured with multi-angle continuous LED panels and wireless camera monitoring rigs, allowing the production team to review footage, framing, and focus in real time.
Behind the diffusion frame, you can see a glimpse of the dedicated makeup station with its vanity lights, illustrating another feature of the full-service environment of our studio. We love hosting crews with such a good energy and creative spirit!
2. Professional Prep for Flawless On-Screen Skin
High-resolution cameras capture every micro-detail, making proper skin prep essential for commercial beauty shoots.
The team utilised a suite of premium skincare tools—from hydrating oils and cooling Gua Sha stones to specialised primers from Chanel and Weleda—ensuring a clean, glowing canvas before applying any pigments.
3. High-Pigment Artistry & Colour Precision
From striking neon palettes to pro-grade body paints, the shoot showcased bold creative artistry.
Our studio’s colour-accurate lighting environment allowed the beauty team to work with saturated pigments, knowing the exact tones would translate faithfully on camera without shift or distortion.
4. Spotlighting the Loella x Sarah Exley Collection
At the heart of the day was the Loella x Sarah Exley professional brush set. Designed specifically for detailed TV and editorial application, each cruelty-free brush features rose-gold ferrules and custom function labelling (like Bronzed Beauty Bella and Straight Nosed Susan).
Macro product stills highlighted the soft synthetic bristle textures and sleek metallic finishes.
